What is the CompTIA Project+ PK0-005 Exam and How to Prepare for It?
CompTIA Project+ is an ideal certification that validates the basic concepts and skills of project management for IT professionals who coordinate or manage small-to-medium-sized projects. The certification exam covers both waterfall and agile methodologies and measures knowledge equivalent to that of professionals who have 6–12 months of hands-on experience managing projects in an IT environment. The CompTIA Project+ PK0-005 exam is the latest version of the certification exam that was launched on November 8, 2022. It replaces the previous version, PK0-004, which will be retired on May 3, 2023. Candidates who want to take the CompTIA Project+ certification exam are recommended to take the PK0-005 exam instead of the PK0-004 exam.
The CompTIA Project+ PK0-005 exam consists of a maximum of 90 questions, including multiple-choice and performance-based questions. The exam duration is 90 minutes and the passing score is 710 on a scale of 100-900. The exam objectives include the following domains:
